Brushfire mumbled and rolled her eyes.
Flicking her tail, she watched the river ahead. Twilightclaw and Dapplepaw had been training there not too long ago, and the apprentice had almost drowned. Brushfire smiled at the thought, then shook her head. Nasty thoughts had always been creeping up in her head since she snapped. She had it all under control, she reminded herself.

Glancing back, she noticed Shadowpaw was already asleep. She snorted in silent laughter and layed her head on her paws. As for her - sleep? As if.
She didn't need sleep.

Shadowpaw wake with a fright to relize that Brushfire lft him alone here,"i should have known that she would leave here after she helped me across the river, she saw the first chance to ditch me and she toke it."

The brushhedges shook. The next one beside it rattled.
Out bursted the lynx-cat in what could only be described as a roar; battling with a fairely large fish near the shoreline.
Finally she found her chance and snapped her powerful jaws down on the eye of the silvery gleaming fish; and then carried it to Shadowpaw.
"Shadowpaaaaaw!" there, again, came her taunting and snarky voice, "Man, you were out for a long time! I've made SO many plans for our journey while you were asleep! Do you know how many plans have been made?"
Brushfire hardely noticed the mass of blood running down her jaw, neck an chest fur while she was talking, that soon splattered in tiny puddles on the ground beneath her.

"Hey hey hey, we share that fish!" Brushfire half-hissed. "I swear to StarClan I am NOT catching another one! That took too much time."
She paused as the apprentice spoke of her plans. Then she smiled.
"Eat your half Tiny Shadow. I'm still straitening things out."

Brushfire's ears were tilted backwards so she could hear the apprentice behind her. All she did for the few minutes was watch her reflection in the virbrant river.
Then she whipped around and her smile returned. She gobbled her half of the fish in a snap; then she nodded.
"We ate, let's go!" before the apprentice could react she was already marching ahead.

Brushfire rolled her eyes.
"Can't you be fun for just one day? Come on, this place is FULL of puddles!"
Brushfire went closer to the shoreline again and hopped in and out of numerous puddles, splashing water all over her long fur.

She wacked a nearby puddle with her huge paw, splashing Shadowpaw with water.
