A two-leg and his mate were out for a day of picnicking. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary except for one thing. They had brought their cat with them. Once the blanket and food had been set up, the two-legs opened the cage carrier and let loose their kittypet. Instantly padding out of the cage, Ice took in her surroundings, white tail tip twitching. Green collar matched her green eyes as she scanned the area. It reeked of strange cats, and it spiked the she-cat's interest. Knowing her owners wouldn't mind her going off to explore, the cinnamon lynx point set off to track them down.

Sally had been exploring around the forest. It was a nice day, a perfect day in fact, but she was far from in perfect condition. She had awoken in Nightstar's cave, her blood on the walls, waking up from the night before when she was attacked. She could remember being attacked, being torn apart by long claws and bitten by sharp teeth, but she had lied and said that she couldn't remember who did it to her. Her scars still ached, even though it had been a couple days after the fight.
She was walking through the woods when she smelled them... Twolegs! She missed her Twoleg Katy, and part of her hoped that Katy had come looking for her like she always did. She followed the scent, smelling a cat, too. Jacky?! Could it be Jacky?! She ran as quickly as she could, and disappointment hit her like a wall of bricks when she saw the Twolegs having a picnic. She stayed out of sight, turning tail and sulking back,
"I guess they didn't come looking for me..." she meowed to herself, her large green eyes focused on the ground beneath her as she walked away, "I know that I am no longer a kittypet, I am a warrior. Still, it would have been nice to see my family again..."

Ice had seen the cat, and hid to where she could watch the stranger hopefully without being found, which seemed to be the case. It was obvious that the other she-cat had been hoping for something, the way her face fell at the sight of the two-legs. Watching the feline start to walk away, the kittypet caught part of what she said. Kittypets? Warriors? What in the blazes is this cat talking about? Ice wondered. Suddenly deciding to follow the stranger, the lynx point started to creep after the retreating figure.

Horsestar was perched delicately on a thick tree branch the hung quite a distance above the forest floor. His dark brown fur blended in well with the bark of the tree and the large green leaves sprouting around him continued to provide further camouflage. Climbing had never exactly been the small tom's forte, which is why his needle sharp black claws were dug into the tree bark and why he sat on a thick branch. He kept his keen yellow gaze on the young she-cat below him on the forest floor, Sally. His pelt prickled a bit with apprehension. He had seen the way Sally had walked away disappointed from those two-legs, as if hoping they had been her old ones. The Clan had already been angry that he had let Sally join, was suspicious because she continued to wear her collar for sentimental reasons, and now if they had seen this... Sally had already been attacked in Nightstar's Cave and then claimed that she didn't remember who had attacked her... Perhaps letting the she-cat into RushClan had been a poor decision... No. Horsestar thought, shaking his head at his own foolishness. Sally had received a dream from StarClan and the paw print on her shoulder. He had to keep his faith in his warrior ancestors. They always worked in mysterious ways and this was just another time they were. The Clan would get used to her eventually, they would have to as long as he was leader. In the mean time, Horsestar could do nothing but let the water settle, so to speak. Sally was probably just having a more difficult time than she had anticipated fitting in with RushClan, which is why she missed her two-legs. She would move on eventually... Suddenly something caught Horsestar's eye slinking out of the bush. It was a cinnamon brown she-cat with striped legs and a pluming tail. Her pelt seemed quite unkempt despite the fact she seemed like a kitty-pet, with a clean color with a shining latch on it and the way the she-cat held herself. Admittedly though, she didn't seem to be like the weak and plump kitty-pets Horsestar normally saw. She was following Sally, her bright green eyes fixed on the new RushClan Warrior. Horsestar stayed perched where he was, watching the two she-cats intently. He wouldn't step in just yet, wanting to see how Sally would handle the situation. [/size]

The one she was stalking didn't seem to notice she was here at all, and the glint of a collar latch confused Ice even more. Pausing mid-step, the she-cat rose to her full height, eying the other with a cold calculation. What is another house cat doing clear out here? I haven't scented any other humans, and those big louts are easy to discover. Blinking, the lynx point noticed that her target was nearly out of sight. Cursing herself for getting off track, the kittypet lashed her tail through the air as if it was a blade. Glancing around, Ice veered right a ways before going straight again. Instead of coming up behind the stranger, she would pass her along the side and jump out in front of her. Narrowing her green eyes, the she-cat flattened her ears and picked up speed. The other kittypet wasn't going to get away so easily.
