[red]My head begins to jingle Most ev'ry time I nod obviously, quite obviously i'm odd
When i was just a kitten, they'd said i'd be a gem But now that i'm a cheshire cat It's odd how odd i am[/red]
Stripe wondered along, unaware of which way he was going, but aware that it didn't matter to him where he ended up. The wind was blowing faster and harder than normal, but not to the point where the scrawny tom ran the risk of being blown away. He snickered as padded along, the usual smile stretched across his face, his very large yellow eyes looking from sight to sight like the gaze of a nervous bird. He looked like he didn't belong on the picture which was a forest, like he was a bright red spot in a canvas of blue.
"Hm... 'looks like it's going to rain, nya! Hah hah!" he chuckled, looking up at the sky. There was an overcast of dark gray clouds, and every inch of them looked ready to pour down rain. The brown tabby began to look for shelter. He saw the cave, known as Nightstar's Cave. Quickly, he darted inside, shivering as rain began to pour down too quickly and soaked him just before he could get inside.
Shaking off what he could, Stripe began to look around the cave. It was cold in there, but at least he could see and slowly dry of. The rain outside was really pouring, making it appear like StarClan had dropped a gray curtain. He listened to the loud beats of the drops hitting the top of the cave, a few slipping in and dropping of the stalagmites unto the cave floor.
"Creepy, nya!" he giggled, making himself at home. He loved creepy places, they were his favorite! Of course, he didn't meet many interesting cats there. As a kit, he hated to admit that he was lonely...

The tom crashed through the enterance of the Nightstar's Cave. His pelt was soaking wet and his eyes were a glowing, sharpened blue, but just around the ireses did the glow shine, and somewhat outside them, too. Infact, the whites of his eyes were also a fainter shade of that blue.
Twilightclaw's eyes were most always that threatening dark blue, but in the dark they were an even more sinister, glowing sharpened light blue, and his eyes narrowed just a bit more to see though the dark. His pelt was matted down to him and dripping with water, which made him look like a zombie cat as he prowled forward with his claws that shined a strange violet colour.
It was hy they called him Twilight and Claw.
The only words he spoke as he entered the cave more were;
"I thought I had come out here alone."

Stripe had began to sing before he noticed Twilightclaw. The tabby-tom had a horribly shrill voice which often seemed to crack whenever he sang and tried to hit certain keys. He spun around when he heard another's voice, his yellow gaze fixing on the other tom.
"Well, hello!" he meowed, "... and to think, they called me crazy for walking around in weather like this, nya!"
A confused look crossed his face, all the while the smile remained, "...However... i have been called 'crazy' in general, nya..."
The scrawny warrior padded over to the other, looking over him quickly. He was one of the larger cats, the lynx-cat siblings which he had heard about. He let out a purr of amusement, pleased that there was finally a pair of ears to hear what he said when he spoke. Most of the time, he was just talking to himself, so this was totally different.

Twilightclaw' eyes narrowed at first, then his lips parted in a smile that could only be explained as wicked.
"I've been called..." Twilightclaw explained as the tom sat down again infront of him, "I've been called more than weird... I can feel you there..."
He wipped around with a flurry of speed to Stripe's side, their fur melting together as if their madnesses were consuming eachother. After a few heartbeats, he asked, with his voice that sounded like the roar of the deepest end of Rush River, "Have you met my sister, Brushfire?"

Stripe's smile widened, if that was possible, when he heard that Twilightclaw was also called mad, insane, etc. After all, an outcast made the best friend for another outcast. Was he really just like him? It would be nice to have someone else to be able to relate with, but then again, it made him less original.
"Sister, eh?" he tilted his head in an odd fashion as he reviewed his memories for any remembrance of the name, "Er... can't say I have...? I don't think I have... have I? Do you know if I have? I don't believe so, but I'm not sure... Do you know?"
He was an odd cat, he could never make up his mind. The tabby let out another purr of amusement, sitting down with Twilightclaw right beside him and whipping his tail back and forth.

Twilightclaw gave a purr of amusement as he uttered his own smile. The water still clung to his felt. The light in his eyes had brightened in the fact that he and Brushfire were not alone in their madness. This cat was odd. "I feel," he started, "That someone's about to enter our small shelter."

Sally couldn't see very far through the pouring rain. She had been hunting when the rain started, and before she knew it, it was pouring down in buckets. Her hearing was clouded by the sound of the water hitting the ground in a constant pace, a fast pace, hundreds of them all falling at once. She had no idea how to find her way back to camp... This first hunting trip was going horribly! And she had lost the others, as well!
Deciding that there was no point in standing around, she ran through the rain, searching for someplace dry to stay until the storm passed. Her pelt was soaked, and water continued to flood over her shivering body. She saw the cave a few fox-lengths away, or at least the outline of it. It was too hard to see to tell for sure, but it was her only option, and she ran toward it.
Rushing into the cave was like passing under a waterfall, but once inside she felt greatly relieved. She shook the excess water off her coat, before looking up to see the two other figures. One was a very scrawny tabby with large yellow eyes and an unnerving smile, Stripe, the loner who had become a warrior. The second was a huge tom, Twilightclaw, one of the lynx-cat siblings she had heard about. She had met his sister, Brushfire, briefly before.
"I'm sorry to intrude," she meowed in apology, bowing her head, "I just needed to get out of the rain...! I'm Sally, by the way! I'm new to the Clan!"

Stripe tilted his head the other direction when Twilightclaw made his comment about someone joining them. The tabby stood up and turned around, facing the entrance, and waiting. The only thing he could hear at first was the rain, but soon, through it all, his large ears picked up the sound of gushing water, as though paws were stepping on the soggy grass, running in their direction.
A calico cat jumped through the wall of water which had been formed by the rain, shivering as she quickly shook off as much water as she could. Once the yellow eyes spotted her collar, he knew who she was. She was that kittypet! The one with a dream from StarClan! He saw the mark on her shoulder and was unimpressed, hissing at her slightly.
"I know who you are," he said through his smile, "You're that kittypet! The one Shadowstalker wants to meet oh-so-badly! You shouldn't be here... and I don't mean in the cave, I mean in the Clan!"
He hated her because Shadowstalker only talked about how maybe she could communicate to his dead mother. Stripe never was one who easily shared the spotlight. He also hated kittypets, and he hated her guts and determination most of all. This was going to be a long storm...

Twilightclaw flashed both of them glances, and scoffed. "The will to ignore someone is golden, like silence," he told Stripe. "I made that myself. You like it?"
He stared out into the rain, his blue eyes glowig with interest. Twilightclaw hadalways loved the rain. It was the onlything he could lean on other than Brushfire.

Sally knew that Stripe didn't like her, he took it into his own hands paws to make it obvious. She, in turn, never truly trusted him. He had given her reasons to doubt him, and she never liked how he smiled all the time, even when killing things or watching something die. When Twilightclaw made the comment about ignoring her, she felt even worse about being stuck in the cave and decided to sit near the entrance, facing out into the rain.
"Sally!" the Twoleg, Katy, called out. Sally padded up to the blond girl, her green eyes fixed on the giant as she meowed with delight. Katy picked her up, scratching her head softly,
"We're going to visit your brother, kitty!" Katy said sweetly, although Sally could only understand a few words, like "brother" and "visit". She still understood what the Twoleg meant, and let out a purred happily as the blond held let her walk toward the door and grabbed on odd thing with fins on the top known as an "umbrella".
The two walked outside, and the rain surrounded them, pitter-pattering on the top of the strange finned thing. The calico poked her nose out from the dry area, feeling a drop land on her nose. She meowed before darting around in an excited manner. Her brother sat on the porch waiting for her, he looked afraid of the rain... but the rain was never scary to her... not even when she was a kit...
"I love the music the rain makes," she meowed gently, more to herself than to the two toms she had almost forgotten about as she lost herself in memories,.

Stripe laughed a shrill, almost ear-splitting laugh when he heard Twilightclaw make a comment about ignoring Sally.
"That sounds like a good quote! Perfect for the situation!" he snickered, directing his comment more toward Sally. His smile turned into something more twisted with sick joy as she sat near the entrance. How does it feel to be an outcast! he wanted to yell, but something held him back.
He purred as he lied down and curled his long tail around his paws, deciding to rest for a little bit before he would have to leave. The calico then made a comment about the rain,
"I don't care for rain..." he meowed, adding on to the conversation as he lied his head down and closed his eyes, "Rain makes the river flood, and I almost drowned in that thing!"

Twilightclaw tilted his head in a strange angle as he listened to Stripe's words. "I was teaching my apprentice to swim in it the other day," he explained. "The kit was strong, I can give him that."
His smile reapeared. It would never be as wiley like Stripe's as much as his own style of wicked. His gaze was locked on Sally as the she-cat starred in her corner, talking to herself.

((I have the feeling that Sally is either about to be attacked or raped... your last post made me think so xD Stripe, on this other site called StarClan, actually raped this apprentice girl and the rest of the cats chased him out of the Clan x3)) Sally began to feel very alone and unsafe. She knew that Stripe's mental state was less than it should be, and that he enjoyed hurting and killing things. She could feel Twilightclaw's eyes on her. She glanced back, seeing the smiles on both their faces and shuddering before turning back to face to rain quickly.
If only Simba and Jacky were here... I would feel safer with my big brothers... she thought, thinking about her family. She wished that Simba were alive, she knew that he would have surely joined the Clans with her! Simba would have went with her anywhere, to protect her, to be there for her, and she would have been there for him. Both her brothers made a fuss about her, even though sometimes she was the one protecting one of them.
"Luna won't you cry for me, I'm as lonely as I've ever been, I am forced back into the start, Is there any way to fix a broken heart?" she sang softly to try and sooth herself. It was a song her Twoleg would often sing or listen to on the magic book with keys and a clicker ((the computer)). She tried to get her mind off of the situation, hoping that nothing would go wrong.

Stripe yawned when he heard Twilightclaw talk about swimming, but sat up to listen more, when he saw the tom facing the entrance, smiling. The tabby of course was smiling with him, and looked to see what his gaze was locked on. Sally...? When she looked back and seemed afraid, Stripe snickered before sitting back down.
"She's afraid of us, nya," he meowed, unsheathing and re-sheathing his claws, "She should be, you're a scary fello', nya ha ha!"

Twilightclaw made that same lion's purr that Brushfire had, only much more sinister-sounding. His glowing eyes narrowed. "It wold seem so," he nodded at Stripe's conclution of Sally being afraid of them.
His tail swept the cave floor behind him.
"You're a scrarey fello'!"
Twilightclaw had to let that sink in. Perhaps he was a scarey tom, but to him that was a good thing. The better to see, smell and eat them with. He scoffed at himself and turned back to look into the rain.
Moondiamond would have liked being here. With him and Stripe. She would have liked joining them in scaring Sally.
